Call for Demos and Exhibits

The 7th ACM Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Health Informatics (ACM BCB) is the flagship conference of the ACM SIGBio. ACM-BCB 2016 is the conference's seventh year, building upon the success of the first six meetings in Niagara Falls, Chicago, Orlando, Washington DC, Newport Beach, and Atlanta. ACM-BCB 2016 will be held in Seattle, WA, October 2-5, 2016.

ACM-BCB is now inviting interested groups to submit applications for demonstrations and exhibits at ACM-BCB 2016.

ACM-BCB 2016 Demonstrations and Exhibits are intended to provide a platform for dissemination of information about established data-portals, knowledge-bases, web-services, and web-based tools of broad interest to the bioinformatics, computational biology, and biomedicine research community. Data-portals for major funding initiatives and large-scale experimental data repositories are of particular interest.

Interested groups can arrange space for booths or poster boards for the duration of the conference. A session on demonstrations and exhibits is also planned, consisting of a small number of short (10-15min) presentations, plus an opportunity for one-on-one demonstrations. Poster easel boards will be provided by the conference upon request. All booth space must be arranged separately (please send an email to acmbcbdemoexhibits@gmail.com with the subject line "Booth"). All presenters and demonstrators are expected to register for the conference.

Proposals can be submitted to acmbcbdemoexhibits@gmail.com at any time until July 17, 2016. Proposals should provide a title and short abstract for the demo/exhibit and indicate the desired presentation options: a) booth, b) poster board, c) short presentation, and/or d) one-on-one demos.
